This Host Agreement supplements the Terms of Service and applies to every Host who lists a vehicle on Get In. Where this Agreement conflicts with the Terms, this Agreement controls for Host-specific matters.

1. Eligibility to host

  • You are 21 or older and have authority to make agreements.
  • You legally own the vehicle or have written authority from the owner and any lien-holder or lessor to make it available for peer-to-peer rental.
  • Listing the vehicle does not breach any finance, lease, or insurance contract.
  • You complete identity verification and any background checks we require.

2. Vehicle standards

  • The vehicle is registered, has a valid roadworthiness or safety inspection where required, and complies with all manufacturer recalls.
  • The vehicle has no more than 130,000 miles / 200,000 km, is no older than 12 model years, and has a clean title (no salvage, branded, or rebuilt titles) unless we have approved an exception.
  • It is delivered clean inside and out, fuelled or charged as agreed, with all keys, chargers, documents, and equipment legally required for the trip.
  • It carries a current personal motor insurance policy that, at minimum, satisfies the financial-responsibility requirements of the jurisdiction where it is registered.

3. Listing accuracy

You will keep your listing accurate at all times — photos, description, mileage limits, location, availability, rules, and any add-ons. Misrepresenting a listing is grounds for cancellation, refunds to Renters at your cost, and removal from the platform.

4. Pricing, fees and payouts

  • You set your nightly price; Get In adds a service fee and any applicable taxes at checkout.
  • Get In retains a host service fee disclosed in your earnings breakdown. The remaining amount is paid out via our payments partner after trip completion.
  • Payouts may be delayed or held during an active claim, dispute, or fraud investigation.
  • You are responsible for collecting and remitting any taxes the platform does not collect on your behalf.

5. Insurance and protection

Get In may offer optional protection products designed to provide cover during eligible trips. Protection is not a substitute for personal motor insurance, and cover is subject to the protection plan terms, exclusions, deductibles, and limits in effect at the time of the trip. You are responsible for notifying your own insurer that you list the vehicle for peer-to-peer rental, where required.

6. Damage and claims

  • Document the vehicle's condition with timestamped photos before and after every trip.
  • Open any damage claim within the window specified in your protection plan and provide all requested evidence (photos, estimates, police reports).
  • Get In makes claim determinations in its reasonable discretion. Amounts approved against the Renter are charged to the Renter's payment method or deposit and remitted to you net of any service fees.

7. Cancellations by Hosts

Host-initiated cancellations harm Renters and the marketplace. You may be charged a host-cancellation fee, lose preferred placement, and have repeated listings suspended. Extenuating circumstances are reviewed under the Cancellation Policy.

8. Communications and response time

Respond to booking requests and Renter messages promptly — ideally within an hour during business hours. Persistent slow response times may affect placement and eligibility for instant book.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. You must complete any accepted bookings (or work with Get In to relocate Renters). Provisions that by their nature survive termination (payouts, claims cooperation, indemnity, confidentiality) continue to apply.
