This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Get In — Renters, Hosts, and visitors. Breaking these rules can result in cancelled bookings, withheld payouts, removed listings, permanent suspension, and reports to law enforcement.

Prohibited vehicle use

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs you.
  • Allowing anyone who is not an approved driver on the booking to drive the vehicle.
  • Using the vehicle for any commercial purpose unless expressly authorised by the Host and Get In (e.g., ride-sharing, delivery, towing for hire, driving instruction).
  • Racing, off-roading, stunt driving, time trials, or any motorsport activity.
  • Transporting illegal goods, hazardous materials, or unlawful quantities of cash.
  • Smoking, vaping, or transporting animals where the listing prohibits it.
  • Crossing borders or leaving the geographic area permitted by the listing.
  • Tampering with the odometer, telematics device, or any vehicle system.

Prohibited platform conduct

  • Bypassing our payments system, taking bookings off-platform, or paying outside the app.
  • Using contacts you make through Get In to operate a competing rental business.
  • Posting false, misleading, or deceptive listings, reviews, or messages.
  • Harassing, threatening, intimidating, or discriminating against any member, Host, Renter, or staff.
  • Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity, age, or licence status.
  • Scraping, copying, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the Services.
  • Uploading malware, attempting unauthorised access, or probing for vulnerabilities outside an authorised disclosure programme.
  • Using the Services to violate any applicable law, including export controls and sanctions.

Safety expectations

  • Inspect the vehicle at pickup and report any damage or safety concern before driving away.
  • Stop and call emergency services after any accident or breakdown. Notify the Host and Get In as soon as it is safe.
  • Never leave the vehicle unattended with keys, fobs, or access cards visible.
